NIOS Class 10th Syllabus

Groups of Subjects
NIOS class 10th syllabus is divided into two groups, Group A and Group B. Subjects in Group A consists of subjects in languages while group B has subjects ranging from mathematics to commerce and humanities. Students have to select at least one subject from Group A while a maximum of two subjects can be selected from Group A. Students can select maximum 4 subjects from Group B.

NIOS Certification Criteria

| Class 10 | Students have to get a minimum of 33% marks including theory and practical exam (wherever applicable). Marks of internal assessment are listed separately in mark sheet. | Students have to pass in 5 subjects in order to get the pass certificate.
